Iyeoka

Boston-based Nigerian-American recording artist, award winning poet, and TED fellow Iyeoka is at the forefront of creating a new artistic genre that gracefully interweaves spoken word poetry with pop, R&B, dance, hiphop and electronic soul. She is a powerful songstress whose vocal talents invoke the spirit of soul-shakers Nina Simone, Sade, Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse. Her warm spirit, stirring lyrics and passionate performances leave audiences not only entertained but also transformed with empowerment.

Iyeoka’s song, 'The Yellow Brick Road Song’ is the theme song for the USA network TV show 'Fairly Legal' and it has also been heard in the HBO series 'How To Make It In America.'

Arrested Development

Arrested Development

Arrested Development hired David Franz at Underground Sun to mix several tracks for their latest release, STRONG.

First known for their ground-breaking and Grammy-winning album 3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days in the Life Of... (released in 1992 with hits “Tennessee,” “People Everyday,” and “Mr. Wendell”), Arrested Development is currently touring the world in promotion of STRONG.

Midatlantic

Dave Weiner

Dave Weiner brought his latest record, On Revolute, to Underground Sun for assistance in the mixing process.

Known first as a touring guitarist with Steve Vai, Dave Weiner has established himself as a creative guitar force with his two amazing albums and his “Riff of the Week” web-based guitar education show. David Franz has worked with Dave on both of his albums.

Midatlantic

Midatlantic

Midatlantic is a Boston-n-Dublin quintet delivering gorgeously amped music that’s anthemic, melodic, and driving. Formed in 2004, the band writes songs meant to ride the line between what's timeless and what's current. Their highly acclaimed 2006 debut release 'Life without Computers' unleashed nine dance-charged tracks. Their second full-length CD, 'The Longest Silence', was released in 2008 and contains songs that are at once comfortably classic and refreshingly forward thinking. Their latest EP “Isle of Shoals” points a new, grittier direction for the band while retaining their signature hooks.

Drawing on the energy, melodies, and sonic landscapes of bands like The Who, U2 and The Cure, Midatlantic dance up these influences and draw in listeners with unforgettable hooks.
