About Us
David Franz opened Underground Sun studio in Boston, MA in 2001, where he produced many regional and international artists. In 2009, he moved Underground Sun to Venice, CA and expanded the business to include all facets of artist development including recording, producing, mixing, mastering, song writing, publishing, licensing, marketing and fund raising.
Underground Sun prides itself on working tenaciously on music creation without sacrificing artist integrity, creating extremely artist-friendly deals, and throwing raging parties in honor of their artists. We stay true to the reasons we love music and desire to work only with artists that have that same passion and drive.
